How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Gyst AI account directly from within the app. This will permanently remove all your data from our systems.

Steps to delete your account:

  1. Open the Gyst AI app on your device
  2. Navigate to the Settings page
  3. Tap on "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your Firebase authentication account
  • All audio recordings stored on your device
  • All transcriptions and translations
  • Your user preferences and settings
  • All cached data related to your account
  • Your usage history and analytics data

Data Retention

  • Immediate deletion: All your personal data is deleted immediately upon account deletion
  • No retention period: We do not retain any of your personal data after account deletion
  • Anonymized analytics: Basic usage statistics may remain in anonymized form for app improvement purposes

Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will need to create a new account if you wish to use the app again
  • Any in-app purchases or subscriptions should be cancelled separately through the App Store
